Introduction: The current research was conducted in order to predict the social skills of fifth grade female students in the 14th district of Tehran based on social intelligence and moral intelligence.
research methodology: This research is considered to be a descriptive and correlational research project in terms of the type of applied goal and based on how to obtain the desired data.The statistical population of this research included all fifth grade female students in Tehran's 14th district in 1402, totaling 1832 people in 25 schools. The sampling method in this research is multi-stage cluster sampling. According to Cochran's formula, 318 samples have been specified for the sample size. The method of data collection is library and field, and the tool of data collection is a closed answer questionnaire, which includes the moral intelligence questionnaire of Link Vakil (2005), Matson's social skills questionnaire (1983) and the Tromsø social intelligence questionnaire which was developed by Silvera, Martin Yusen and Dahl (2001) designed it. In this research, descriptive statistics have been used for frequency distribution, along with drawing tables and graphs, and inferential statistics have been used to analyze data and research hypotheses.
Findings: The results showed that all dimensions of social skills can be predicted based on social intelligence and moral intelligence.
Conclusion: According to the results, it was found that students' social skills and all its dimensions can be predicted based on social intelligence and moral intelligence. Therefore, by providing conditions for improving social intelligence and moral intelligence, it is possible to help improve students' social skills.
